Ahmadinejad, Clinton Campaign, and More
I am very disappointed that Iranian President Ahmadinejad was allowed to speak at Columbia University this past week. The harsh introduction of Ahmadinejad by the President of Columbia University was a bit ironic, since this is the same person that allowed him to speak. Why in the world would any true American patriot give a terrorist like this a platform? Wake up Columbia – it’s not about freedom of speech, this guy questions the holocaust, wants to do away with Israel, and considers the US as a terrorist nation. Of course, what should we expect from the same university that said they would allow Hitler to visit.
Former Denver Mayor Wellington Webb’s visit with “In The Booth” was interesting as well as he came on to discuss the Clinton Presidential campaign. Although not overly prepared, Webb did discuss Senator Clinton’s plan for a movement towards nationalized healthcare. Other issues discussed include terrorism, comments on Ahmadinejad, and he also graciously accepted the comments of President Bush who said Clinton would win the nomination. The one thing I came away with from this interview was that of all the Democrat nominees, of which I am a fan of none, she is most likely to stand up to the terrorists (though I tend to question how far that commitment to national security will really go); however, the move towards socialism is very concerning.
One of the news stories I reacted most harshly too was the proposal in New York to allow illegal immigrants to receive a driver’s license because so many are currently driving uninsured. Are you kidding me? Why do we continue to extend citizenship rights to illegal immigrants? A Drivers License can be a terrorist weapon – listen to find out how.
Flashing through the news at the end……….yikes, Colorado State University needs to wake up! Take a listen!
